Cinemistry
Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026
These terms apply when you use cinemistry.com (“Cinemistry”, “we”, “us”) to create or share greeting videos. By signing in or creating a greeting you agree to them.
The service
Cinemistry generates short personalized greeting videos from a template and the names you provide, and hosts each one on a public share page. The service is offered free of charge during the current campaign. We may change, pause, or discontinue it at any time.
Your account
- You need an account (email/password or Google via Auth0) to create greetings.
- Keep your login details to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Fair-use limits apply, such as a maximum number of greetings per account per day.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you have in the names and details you enter. You give us permission to use them to render your video, store it, and display it on its share page so it can be watched by anyone with the link. You confirm you have the right to use any name you enter and that doing so does not infringe anyone’s rights.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cinemistry to create or share content that:
- is abusive, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit;
- impersonates a real person in a misleading way, or targets someone who has not consented;
- infringes a trademark, copyright, or other right;
- is unlawful in India or in the place you are using the service.
We may remove any greeting and suspend any account that breaks these rules, without notice.
Our content
The video templates, artwork, music, brand, and software are ours or licensed to us. You may share the greetings you create for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy the templates, strip our branding, or resell the output.
Share links
Share pages are public to anyone with the link and may be previewed by messaging apps. You can ask us to take a greeting down by emailing rajeev.sarathe@cinemistry.com.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. Rendering can fail, links can break, and features can change. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Cinemistry is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
